We hold regular small intermediate to advanced school holiday riding camps open to school aged children.
For safety, the minimum riding requirement needed to attend camp is for all children to be confident in walk and trot and be current riding students at Shibumi.
The aim of our camp is to build a grounding that will allow the rider to expand their current riding and horse management education.
These camps are perfect for those children who would like to eventually own a horse of their own.
The camp includes formal riding lessons, horse management and trail rides/fun rides/games in a safe and supervised environment
Riding lessons include education in dressage, show jumping and cross country.
Horse management will include feeding, grooming, tacking, veterinary care, lungeing and much more with the emphasis on safety and correct handling of horses.
