Directions from the North via Sutton Forest

Travel south from Sydney on the M5, which becomes the Hume Highway (Route 31) towards Goulburn/Canberra.

These are some of the off ramps that you will pass.

  • Campbeltown off ramps
  • 7 Eleven Garage at Pheasants Nest
  • Bargo/Tahmoor @ Avon Dam Road
  • Colo Vale/Yerinbool/Hill Top @ Church Street
  • Mittagong/Bowral/Moss Vale @ Old Hume Highway
  • Berrima/Moss Vale @ Medway

As you pass Berrima/Moss Vale Exit you will see the following signs

  • Freeway Ends in 2 km
  • Freeway Ends in 1 km
  • Freeway Ends

Keep in the left hand lane and slow up as turn off comes up quickly

You will see a sign for a left turn to “Sutton Forest” via Golden Vale Road turn Left and travel for 30m

At the T junction turn Right onto Golden Vale Road and travel for 6 km
At next T junction turn Right onto Illawarra Highway (towards Goulburn)
Travel for 500m and turn left onto Exeter Road, towards Bundanoon
Follow the signs to Bundanoon
Travel thru Bundanoon, in the middle of town follow the road around to the left on Church Street
Turn Right at Ye Olde Bicycle Shoppe onto Anzac Parade
Go past the fire station and follow road to Right over the railway bridge
At T junction turn Left onto Erith Street
At roundabout turn Right onto Hill Street
At T junction turn Left onto Old Wingello Road
Old Wingello Road veers right and becomes Ferndale Road
Pass cemetery, playing fields and pony club on left hand side

The second “Shibumi” entrance, number 200, is for all Equestrian visitors

Directions from the North via Illawarra Highway

Travel south from Sydney on the M5 which becomes the Hume Highway (Route 31) towards Goulburn/Canberra.

These are some of the off ramps that you will pass.

Campbelltown off ramps

  • 7 Eleven Garage at Pheasants Nest (51 km to Illawarra off ramp – where you get off)
  • Bargo/Tahmoor @ Avon Dam Road
  • Colo Vale/Yerinbool/Hill Top @ Church Street
  • Mittagong/Bowral/Moss Vale @ Old Hume Highway
  • Berrima/Moss Vale @ Medway Road

Follow the Moss Vale/Wollongong/Canyonleigh signs at the Illawarra Highway off ramp.

Turn Left onto the Illawarra Highway.
Travel for 3 km and turn Right onto Old Argyle Road
Travel along Old Argyle Road for 2.7 km until you come to a T junction – St Maur winery just before the corner on the right hand side
Turn Right onto Sallys Corner Road.
Travel on Sallys Corner Road for only 20 meters and
Turn Left again onto Old Argyle Road.

Travel on Old Argyle Road which begins as sealed/tar road and within 1 km becomes a dirt road. After 3 km on the dirt road and at the second sharp left turn,
Old Argyle Road becomes Ferndale Road and “Shibumi” is 2.3 km is on the left hand side.

This entrance – number 200 – is for all Equestrian visitors

Directions from the South

Travel on the Hume Highway (Route 31) towards Sydney.

After passing Goulburn and Marulan there are a number of exits signposted ‘Bundanoon’.  Pass these by, heading for the Sutton Forest McDonalds & Service Centre.

Take the Exeter/Bundanoon off ramp at the Sutton Forest  Shell Service Centre and McDonald’s
At the blue barrels and roundabout keep straight
Turn Right at the Exeter/Bundanoon sign and go over the highway
Turn Left and follow the Exeter/Bundanoon sign
At the roundabout turn Right onto Sallys Corner Road
Travel along Sallys Corner Road for 4.9km. 

Turn Right on Old Argyle Road which begins as sealed/tar road and within 1 km becomes a dirt road. After 3 km on the dirt road and at the second sharp left turn,  Old Argyle Road becomes Ferndale Road and “Shibumi” is 2.3 km on the left hand side.
